THE QUAKE

Pathway and Friends of Pathway joined the relief effort for Gujarat Quake Victims, in the form of rice grown at our farm, and also clothes, funds, medicines, etc.

The children and the staff at Pathway decided to send thousands of "Poories" made from wheat and big boys and girls joined the staff in rolling of wheat flour and preparing "Poories" which was prepared with great care without a drop of water. These "Poories", it was explained could be preserved for 2-3 months. Along with this, the entire team also produced lime and mango pickles from the lime and mango grown at the farm. All these poories and pickles were carefully wrapped in aluminum foil. These packets in thousands were then packed in large containers and the entire gift from Pathway which also included rice, coconuts, clothes medicines etc. were handed over to the Indian Red Cross for shipment to Gujarat. Prayer sessions for our suffering fellowmen were held.
